Tapeworm and Ascaris
Many people may carry dormant tapeworm stages from childhood, especially from soil exposure. These stages are not meant to develop further, and in their inactive form they may cause little concern.
In Dr. Hulda Clark’s findings, individuals with severe immune challenges often showed what she referred to as “Tapeworm Disease,” where these stages appeared to activate instead of staying dormant. When this happens, she believed they could release tiny larvae, cysts, eggs, and related microbes throughout the body, contributing to feelings of unwellness. She suggested that accumulated solvents or lowered immunity might trigger this activation.
Using the Syncrometer, her energetic testing tool, she often detected scolices (heads) and eggs in major organs such as the thymus, spleen, bone marrow, brain, and liver. Clark also noted that tapeworm stages were frequently accompanied by microbes like Streptomyces fungus, which she considered particularly harmful. In her view, wherever Streptomyces appeared, tapeworm stages were usually nearby.
Traditional parasite herbs do not affect every type of tapeworm, and even the Zapper may not reach all areas of the body. Other well-known herbs, like pumpkin seed and male fern, can be helpful, but the most effective method Dr. Hulda Clark observed was high-dose Co-enzyme Q10. She found that very large amounts — around 3000 mg (3 grams) — were needed to reach tapeworm stages that may hide deep in the body, such as the brain or bone marrow. For individuals who are tall or heavier (around 77 kg or more), she recommended 4 grams. Co-enzyme Q10 is naturally present in all cells and is generally viewed as well-tolerated, but large amounts can be expensive to maintain regularly. For this reason, Clark emphasized avoiding re-exposure through sources like rare meat or certain dairy products.
For those who felt extremely unwell, Clark suggested repeating the large dose every fifth day. For individuals who were HIV positive but not feeling ill, she suggested taking the large dose weekly, with smaller daily amounts (about 400 mg) on the other days. For best results, she advised taking it on an empty stomach, such as before breakfast. Capsules can be opened and mixed into a small amount of pure honey (about ¼ teaspoon) instead of swallowing many capsules, which she believed could introduce unnecessary contaminants. Those who were not HIV positive could keep the large dose only for times of illness, repeating it weekly until feeling better.
Tough Tapeworms
Even after clearing tapeworm larvae, some types may still persist. Certain species, such as Echinococcus multilocularis, are known for having layers of larvae inside other larvae. These inner layers are extremely well-protected, making them difficult for any method to reach — whether herbs, the Zapper, or even high-dose Co-enzyme Q10.
These deeply hidden larvae are traditionally referred to as hydatid sand. With Syncrometer testing, Dr. Hulda Clark often found that people carrying these specific tapeworm varieties could still have hydatid sand present even after thorough detox protocols.
One of the most common varieties she observed was Echinococcus granulosus, found worldwide in animals such as sheep, pigs, cows, horses, goats, and dogs. Clark believed this variety was especially resilient and capable of surviving many conventional parasite-cleansing approaches.
Why Leftover Tapeworm Stages Still Matter
You might wonder why a few remaining tapeworm stages could still cause problems. On their own, these leftover stages may not cause much harm. The real concern, according to Dr. Hulda Clark’s observations, is the microbes that often accompany them—especially Streptomyces.
Clark believed that Streptomyces can spread quickly through the body, particularly targeting areas that are already weakened, such as the thymus. Unlike something mild or common like Candida, Streptomyces produces intense by-products, including protease enzymes. These can interfere with the body’s natural chemistry by consuming nucleic acid bases (like adenine and hypoxanthine), altering nitrites, increasing ammonia, and placing strain on immune cells such as T-cells. Even though Streptomyces exists naturally in soil, Clark viewed it as a stronger and more disruptive invader when found inside the body.
For this reason, she believed that every last grain of hydatid sand and any shielded larvae must be neutralized. At the same time, she cautioned not to rupture cysts, as this could release more unwanted elements. Instead, the goal was to gently penetrate the layers and address what’s inside.
Clark found that a combination of Cysteine and Ozonated Olive Oil could reach through multiple membrane layers to affect hidden larvae and trapped eggs.
She also noted that, if someone still did not feel better after herbal parasite cleansing, Co-enzyme Q10, and Zapper sessions, two possibilities remained:
1. Residual tapeworm stages, or
2. Ascaris eggs that survived earlier treatments.
The Curious Case of Ascaris
Ascaris is a parasite found in both animals and humans across the world. Nearly all dogs and cats carry some form of it, and humans may also host it from time to time. Each species has its own variety—horses have Ascaris megalocephala, pigs have Ascaris suum, and humans have Ascaris lumbricoides—yet cross-hosting can still occur.
Unlike other parasites, Ascaris does not latch on or move much. It simply stays in the body, absorbing nutrients and slowly filling with eggs. When Ascaris is affected by herbal protocols or zapping, the adult worm may be fatally damaged, but the eggs inside it are shielded. Within a day, these eggs can begin leaving the dying worm, spreading throughout the body. Another 24 hours later, they may start hatching into larvae.
According to Dr. Hulda Clark, these stages—eggs, larvae, and adults—can be detected as they appear by using a Syncrometer and comparing with test slides.
Even when you are using the Zapper and taking traditional parasite herbs, these methods do not fully penetrate the Ascaris worm to reach what is inside it. It can take several weeks for a dead Ascaris worm to completely break down, and during that time its eggs may continue to escape.
It may seem harmless for a few eggs to get out while the main worm is dying, but Dr. Hulda Clark observed the opposite. She found that Ascaris eggs may cause more trouble than the adult worm itself. According to her work, these eggs can carry three additional pathogens: Rhizobium leguminosarum, Mycobacterium avium intracellulare, and Adenovirus (the common cold virus). She believed that a surge of these could contribute to symptoms such as night sweats.
In her observations, night sweats eased once the final Ascaris egg was gone. If the sweating returned, she took that as a sign that eggs were active again. Within 24 hours, these eggs could begin hatching into larvae and restarting the entire cycle.
Large parasites like Ascaris and tapeworm larvae usually take around three weeks to fully disintegrate and be removed from the tissues. But if eggs or tapeworm scolices continue to be released during this period, the cycle may repeat. Fortunately, the same two substances that can penetrate tapeworm layers—Cysteine and Ozonated Olive Oil—were found by Clark to also reach into Ascaris worms and help clear any remaining stages, whether living or breaking down.
The Mop-Up Program for leftover tapeworm stages and sheltered Ascaris eggs — based on Dr. Hulda Clark’s protocol
Recommended combination:
- Ozonated Olive Oil: 3 tablespoons in the morning
- L-Cysteine (500 mg): 3 capsules, twice daily
- Do not take L-Cysteine within 5 hours of the Ozonated Olive Oil, as Clark believed it may reduce the oil’s effect.
About Ozonated Olive Oil:
Ozonated oil is generally well-tolerated, but Clark recommended using only what is needed. Because ozone can interact with fats, she preferred keeping the dose minimal and targeted toward unwanted organisms before it interacts with your own tissues.
About L-Cysteine:
Use the L-form, not D-Cysteine. It can be taken as L-Cysteine hydrochloride or free L-Cysteine. Some people may experience temporary discomfort from its strong cleansing action — such as fatigue, reduced appetite, or nausea. If this happens, reduce the dose but avoid extending the program beyond 3 weeks. Clark noted that people with higher parasite loads tend to experience more detox reactions.
To support your body while taking L-Cysteine:
- Drink plenty of water
- Take Vitamin C and Vitamin E (400 mg) daily
- Take Vitamin E at least 2 hours after the Ozonated Olive Oil
- Balance acidity by drinking ½ tsp baking soda in water at bedtime
- Eat regular meals even if appetite is low
- Take Vitamin B1 (500 mg) with meals to support appetite
Most reactions ease within a few days, though in some cases it may take up to a week. Clark emphasized not allowing weight loss during this time.
Additional benefits of L-Cysteine:
According to Clark, Cysteine also helps counter everyday environmental radiation (“background radiation”) and supports the body in clearing certain heavy metals, possibly by helping form glutathione. Since it is a precursor to glutathione, she believed it is valuable as an ongoing supplement for general support.
