Dr Hulda Clark’s Pet Parasite Cleanse

What you need:

  • A bunch of Parsley
  • Black Walnut Hull Tincture
  • Wormwood
  • Cloves, ground

Cleanse Pets Too
Pets often carry many of the same parasites that humans do, such as Ascaris (roundworm), hookworm, Trichinella, Strongyloides, heartworm, and several tapeworm varieties. For this reason, Dr. Hulda Clark recommended that all pets in the home follow a regular parasite-cleansing routine. Occasional vet visits alone may not provide ongoing protection.

You don’t necessarily need to remove your pet from your home to support your own wellness. However, if you are feeling unwell or dealing with major health challenges, Clark suggested temporarily boarding your pet with a friend until you are stronger.

Your pets are part of your family and deserve the same level of care, cleanliness, and wellness that you give yourself. Supporting their health is simple and can be done with a consistent routine. Here is the suggested recipe:

Pet Parasite Program (Dr. Hulda Clark Style)
1. Parsley Water
  • Boil a large bunch of fresh parsley in 1 litre of water for 3 minutes.
  • Discard the parsley.
  • Once cooled, freeze most of the liquid in ice trays.
  • Add 1 parsley-water ice cube to your pet’s water bowl each day.
    • Whatever they drink is fine—there’s no need to monitor the exact amount.

Dosage Guide:
All amounts are based on a 10 lb (5 kg) cat or dog.
Double the dosage for a 20 lb (9 kg) pet, and continue adjusting proportionally by weight.

Why Parsley Water?
Pets usually carry many parasites, so cleansing must be done gently. Parsley water supports the kidneys to help remove waste as parasites are cleared. Most pets grow to enjoy the flavor.
Continue this for one full week before starting Black Walnut Hull Tincture.

2. Black Walnut Hull Tincture (Regular Strength)
  • Give 1 drop on food. Do not force your pet to eat it.
  • Cats: Only twice a week.
  • Dogs: Daily.
    • Example: A 30 lb (13.6 kg) dog would receive 3 drops per day, increasing gradually by 1 drop per day until the full amount is reached.

If your pet vomits or has diarrhea:
This may indicate the presence of worms. These can be extremely infectious.

  • Never let children clean up pet waste.
  • Cover the mess with salt and Lugol’s Iodine, allow it to sit for 5 minutes, then clean it.
  • Treat outdoor mess the same way.
  • Wash your hands afterward with a skin sanitizer.
  • Keep all alcohol-based products safely out of children’s reach.

Introduce Wormwood after one week.

3. Wormwood Capsules

(200–300 mg Wormwood per capsule)

  • Open a capsule and sprinkle the smallest pinch onto dry food.
  • Continue this for one week before adding cloves.

4. Cloves
  • Add the smallest pinch to your pet’s dry food.
  • Maintain this routine consistently. Many pets become happier and more energetic once on this program.
  • Introduce each step gradually so your pet adjusts well to the taste and dosage.

Keeping a Healthy Home Environment With Pets

To reduce exposure to unwanted germs or parasites, it’s important to maintain good hygiene habits around pets. Encourage them to stay off counters and tables, and give them their own dedicated food and water dishes. Avoid letting pets sleep on your bed, and ideally keep the bedroom as a pet-free space. Refrain from kissing pets, and always wash your hands after handling or playing with them. Never share food directly with your pets.

For cats, avoid keeping litter boxes inside the main living area when possible. Installing a cat door can help. If you must clean a litter box, use a dust mask. Children’s sandboxes should be filled with clean, fresh sand and kept covered when not in use.

Be mindful of outdoor and public spaces:

  • Avoid restaurants where the floor is being swept during meals, as dust can carry outdoor contaminants.
  • Ensure children do not crawl on sidewalks or public floors.
  • Always wash children’s hands before they eat.
  • Use utensils, even for “finger foods,” to minimize contact with surfaces.
  • If it suits your home, leave shoes at the door to reduce tracked-in dirt.

Dr. Hulda Clark also noted that many flavored pet foods contain unwanted solvent residues such as carbon tetrachloride, benzene, isopropyl alcohol, or wood alcohol. For this reason, she recommended choosing unflavored, simple pet foods whenever possible.

Pets bring joy and companionship into a home. Clark’s view was to address the parasites, not get rid of the pets, unless someone in the household is very ill — in which case temporarily boarding the pet may be the safest option.
