Dr. Clark explains the science behind this device in her book “The Cure for All Diseases.” Her work began with the discovery that the human body gives off electrical signals—similar to a radio station—across a wide range of low-voltage frequencies. Because these signals are so subtle, they went unnoticed until her research highlighted them.
From there, she developed a diagnostic method using radio-electronic principles. She also found that every organism and substance has its own natural frequency (“bioradiation”). According to her findings, when parasites, bacteria, or viruses are exposed to their specific frequencies, they can be disrupted or weakened. These frequencies are very different from the natural frequency range she associated with the human body, so there was no concern of overlap. (Pathogens were said to fall between 77 kHz and 900 kHz, while the human range was listed as 1520 kHz to 9460 kHz.)
At first, a frequency generator was used to target each microorganism one by one, which was slow and tedious. Later, when a small, handheld, battery-powered frequency device was created, it was noted that all unwanted frequencies could be addressed simultaneously because the battery produced what is called a “positive offset frequency.” To Quote Dr Clark: “Any positive offset frequency kills all bacteria, viruses and parasites simultaneously given sufficient voltage (5 to 10 volts), duration (seven minutes), and frequency (anything from 10 Hz to 500,000 Hz) Pg. 15
How it works
To Quote Dr Clark again:
“Generating positive offset frequencies is the best way to kill all pathogens quickly. But it takes more than one treatment. It takes three treatments to kill everything. Why? The first zapping kills viruses, bacteria and parasites. But a few minutes’ later, bacteria and viruses (different ones) often recur. I conclude they had been infecting the parasites, and killing the parasites released them. The second zapping kills the released viruses and bacteria, but soon a few viruses appear again. They must have been infecting some of the last bacteria. After a third zapping I never find any viruses, bacteria or parasites, even hours later. Why didn’t the virus inside the parasite die with the first zapping? It may be because electricity travels on the exterior of things. The body of the parasite shielded the interior. This is why my earlier, promising work spending hours on a frequency generator gave only partial or temporary improvement- it was only done once not three times. And it explains why a single treatment with a frequency generator or zapper frequently gives you a cold! Zapping does not kill shielded organisms such as those that may be in the middle of your stomach or intestines. The electricity travels along the stomach or intestine wall, not through their contents. So zapping is still not perfect, but can bring such manifest relief that everyone should buy or make one.” Pg.15-16
To use the zapper, wrap each copper tube with a single layer of wet paper towel. Hold one tube in each hand and switch the device on. Run it for 7 minutes, then switch it off and wait 20 minutes. Repeat this process two more times: another 7-minute session, wait 20 minutes, and then a final 7-minute session.
In short: Zap 3 times for 7 minutes each, with 20-minute breaks in between.
Dr. Clark emphasizes not skipping the second or third round, as the full sequence is part of the method she recommends.
To address anything that may remain in the bowel, kidneys, or gallstones, Dr. Clark also suggests supporting the body with her herbal programs such as the Herbal Parasite Program, Bowel Program, Mo-Pup Program, Kidney Cleanse, and Liver Cleanse.
Safety
Having worked with thousands of case studies, this is what Dr Clark has to say: “The most important question, of course, is whether there is any harmful effect on you. I have seen no effects on blood pressure, mental alertness, or body temperatures. It has never produced pain, although it has often stopped pain instantly. This does not prove its safety. even knowing that the voltage comes from a small 9-volt battery, does not prove safety although it is reassuring. The clotting of red blood cells, platelet aggregation and functions that depend on surface charges on cells need to be investigated. But not before you can use it. Your safety lies in the short period of exposure that is necessary. Viruses and bacteria disappear in 3 minutes; tapeworm stages, flukes, roundworms in 5; and mites in 7. One need not go beyond this time, although no bad effects have been seen at any length of treatment……..Do not zap if you are pregnant or wearing a pacemaker. These situations have not been explored yet” Pg. 19-20.
If you are prone to seizures, be aware that your first zapping session may trigger one. Start with shorter sessions and gradually build up to the full timing as your body adjusts.
If you take heart medication that lowers your pulse rate, please consult a qualified healthcare practitioner before using a zapper.
Slow Zapping
If your immune system is weakened, you may have a high parasite load without realizing it. When you begin zapping, large parasites may start to break down, releasing what Dr. Clark refers to as “emerging pathogens.” This can cause various temporary reactions as the body deals with the released material.
If your body has limited ability to clear waste, you may experience an increase in fungal symptoms due to the presence of decaying parasite matter. Dr. Clark recommends using high-dose digestive enzymes to help your system break this down more effectively.
As parasites die, they may also release ammonia. According to Dr. Clark, ammonia can disrupt sleep and place strain on the kidneys, and when it affects the brain, it may contribute to insomnia. L-Ornithine—an amino acid—is suggested to help the body process ammonia more comfortably.
Natural Healing’s “Slow Zapping Kit” includes supportive products and full instructions for easing into the process.
In some cases, if your body’s detox or elimination pathways are not functioning well, it may be helpful to prepare the body first before starting any zapping routine.
It is strongly recommended to speak with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using a zapper if you have any serious health concerns.
Slow Zapping Kit – no 10
For individuals with a high parasite load, low immunity, a history of seizures, or signs of liver or kidney congestion, it is recommended to follow the standard zapper instructions but begin more gently. Start on Day 1 with three sessions of 1 minute each, spaced 20 minutes apart (1 minute on, 20 minutes off, repeated three times). On Day 2, increase each session to 2 minutes, and on Day 3, increase to 3 minutes, continuing to build up gradually each day until you reach the full 7 minutes × 3 sessions as outlined in the zapper guidelines. You can progress even more slowly if needed. This gradual approach allows the body time to clear waste more comfortably and helps reduce any potential reaction.
Alongside your zapping routine:
- Take 15 digestive enzyme capsules daily (you may increase to twice daily if needed), all at once, at least 2 hours after eating or 1 hour before food. These enzymes support the breakdown of dead or decaying parasite material, especially when immunity is low, macrophage activity is reduced, or there is a history of fungal overgrowth. This is only necessary once you begin zapping for 3 minutes or more, and it is best continued for 5–6 days or until you reach the full 7-minute zapping sessions.
- Take ¼ to ¾ teaspoon of L-Ornithine in a small amount of water before bed. This helps the body process ammonia, which can place strain on the kidneys and may contribute to difficulty sleeping.

Maintenance of Zapper
(Please note all of the information that follows is taken from the writings of Dr Clark in her published books and in no way constitutes claims made by Be The Change)
- Check the battery: Replace the battery as soon as the red light comes on. Our zappers include a battery warning indicator that activates when the voltage drops below 7.4v. According to Dr. Clark, the zapper is no longer effective below this level. To replace the battery, unscrew the back of the zapper, unclip the old battery, and insert a new 9-volt battery. We keep batteries in stock at a reduced price, but you can also purchase them from any supermarket. Battery life varies by brand, but you can expect roughly 4–5 hours of continuous use.
Note: Many competitor zappers do not have a battery warning light. If you are using one of those, you may need a multi-meter to test the battery before each use. - Check the green light: The green light shows that the zapper is producing the correct square wave. If the battery becomes very flat, even this light will eventually stop working. Older models needed a “short circuit test” in a dark room by briefly touching the copper handles together, but the new lights are too strong for that method to show anything—so please don’t let that confuse you. All our zappers are individually tested before delivery, so if the green light is on and the cables are connected, the zapper is functioning correctly. (Note that the green light will stay on even if the copper handholds are not making contact with your hands.)
- Check the connection cables: With regular use, the cable connection points are the most vulnerable parts of the device. There are two areas to check:
Where the wires enter the zapper box and connect to the circuit board: These are usually very secure and unlikely to loosen unless the cables are pulled with force. If you want to confirm, open the back of the zapper and check that the two wires entering through the hole are still firmly attached to the green circuit board.
The crocodile clips that attach to the copper handles: Twisting or pulling on the wires can sometimes loosen these connections. To check them, remove the plastic cover on the crocodile clip and make sure the wire is firmly attached. Replacement clips are easy to find and simple to install if needed.
Our latest zappers now include extra reinforcement at both connection points to increase durability. However, please avoid swinging or pulling the zapper by its cables, as this can still cause damage.
Cleaning the Handholds
The zapper works by sending an electrical frequency through the body, so good conductivity is essential. This allows the device to reach areas that traditional methods may not. However, it does not reach places with poor conductivity, such as gallstones, kidney stones or crystals, bowel contents, or inside tumors. This is why Dr. Clark recommends using her herbal programs and cleanses together with zapping for more complete support.
Sometimes the zapper may seem less effective than usual. For example, during flu-like symptoms, the main issue may be in the digestive tract—an area with reduced conductivity—so pairing the zapper with the relevant herbs often gives better results.
Certain toxins can also reduce the body’s conductivity and make it harder for the frequency to move through the system. The most common “conductivity blockers” Dr. Clark identifies are PCBs and benzene.
- PCBs are commonly found in soaps, detergents, cooking oils, body oils, foods made with commercial oils, and fish.
- Benzene exposure often comes from fried or baked foods made with commercial oils, fossil fuels, petroleum products (including “white oils” used in cosmetics and food processing), lubricants, essential oils, soaps, pesticides, and decaffeinated coffee.
Dr. Clark developed her advanced plate zapping technology specifically to overcome these conductivity challenges and help direct the frequency into targeted tissue types.
Using the zapper on the feet instead of the hands may enhance conductivity because the feet typically come into contact with fewer of these toxins.
